Nyah Blais, L.Ac.

Nyah Blais is a California-licensed acupuncturist who is currently pursuing her national board certification. Her path into healthcare began early, inspired by her mother’s work as a nurse and lactation consultant. Originally planning to become a nurse herself, Nyah completed her nursing prerequisites before discovering a deeper calling in holistic medicine during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nyah’s introduction to acupuncture was deeply personal. While supporting her sister during treatment at UCSF Children’s Hospital, she witnessed firsthand the impact of integrative care. Seeing acupuncture used alongside Western medicine sparked a lasting inspiration and shaped her approach to healing.

She moved to the Bay Area to pursue her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at AIMC in Berkeley. There, she received comprehensive clinical training across a variety of settings. Her experience includes working with women undergoing cancer treatment at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, supporting patients at the Women’s Resource Center in San Francisco, and treating orthopedic conditions with student athletes at UC Berkeley. She has also been involved in community care through pop-up clinics focused on queer and trans wellness and climate-conscious health initiatives.

Growing up, Nyah spent most of her days outside on her family’s farm. She is a trained dancer in ballet and jazz and danced for 19 years.

She is especially passionate about reproductive and women’s health, trauma-informed care, and creating a safe, inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community. Nyah strives to ensure that every patient feels seen, supported, and empowered in their healing journey.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys live music, reading, and staying connected to nature.
